Our Kindness Tree has recently received much media attention. It was featured in The Moreland Leader and on the CEM’s News & Events website and social media. Created by students and staff during the week of the National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence, we are thrilled that the student’s heart felt messages have made a positive impact at this time.

St Paul’s Primary School students celebrate National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence.

Thoughtful students at St Paul’s Primary School Coburg have been busy spreading the love.

The school came together on March 19 to celebrate the National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence in advance after the official event on March 20 was postponed due to COVID-19.

The whole school took a no-bullying pledge, proudly wore anti-bullying orange ribbons and created a Kindness Tree full of lovely messages from the students themselves.

School librarian Angela Gangi said the tree was made as a way to focus on kindness and positivity rather than negative words and bullying.
