Year 5 boys experience secondary school at Parade College
On Tuesday the Year 5 boys, accompanied by Miss Moore and Miss Michelle, were treated to a morning at the Preston Campus of Parade College, where they participated in a range of activities and talks. The boys thoroughly enjoyed their experience, in particular
the materials technology session. We extend our thanks to the staff at Parade College for their hospitality. Next Tuesday, the Year 5 students will be attending the Parade College and Mercy College Production of “Hello Dolly”, accompanied by Ms. Donna and Miss Michelle. I’m sure they will enjoy this very special performance.
St Paul’s Primary school has a great working relationship with Parade College and it is the school of choice for many families when it comes to boy’s secondary education
Miss Pat Villa,
Year 5 Boys Visit Parade
On Tuesday 1st May, the Year 5 boys visited Parade College in Preston. We visited the college to experience a day of high school
and try some of the activities they offer. We did science, P.E, woodwork and library. The school was very different compared to
our school and had many interactive things. While we were there, we saw a powerpoint about what Parade does and we also saw
some old friends from St Paul’s. Thank you to our Year 5 teachers for taking us and the staff at Parade College for showing us their school.
